Job Description: Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to persons with disabilities or developmental delays.
Occupational Therapists spend a lot of their time Assisting and Caring for Others. They are naturally good at Oral Comprehension, Oral Expression, Deductive Reasoning, and Problem Sensitivity. Occupational Therapists are typically characterized as being Social and Investigative. They are usually very knowledgable about Therapy and Counseling, Psychology, and Education and Training and are skilled at Active Listening and Reading Comprehension.
