Job Description: Analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Prepare reports with credit information for use in decision making.
Credit Analysts spend a lot of their time Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships. They are naturally good at Deductive Reasoning, Oral Expression, Number Facility, and Oral Comprehension. Credit Analysts are typically characterized as being Conventional and Enterprising. They are usually very knowledgable about Mathematics, Clerical, and Economics and Accounting and are skilled at Critical Thinking and Reading Comprehension.
